Reedmace
Some people call this plant a bulrush, but it is not a rush, it is a reed. Typha latifolia
(The true bulrush is a type of sedge)
This is an old one developing quite a culture of algae on its surface.
I am beginning to like this more relaxed approach to blipping. No pressure to find something come-what-may. At present, I am just making the most of the fine weather.
