A featureless Blip

Or is it? A Roman road once ran across this field. It ran from the right of the large tree in the distance towards me and under my feet. It shows up well on aerial photos but not so well at ground level. With the eye of faith, as the archaeologists put it, you might be able to see a slight raising of the surface now covering what would have been a stone roadway.
