I was lucky

to stumble upon a procession this morning in Kyoto. I even managed to get a decent portrait of one of the Geisha. Was very pleased, but had to sacrifice another temple trip as a result...

Am now back in Tokyo - it's been a late night on the town in Shibuya but now off to bed for an hour or two - am getting the early bullet train to Echigo-Yuzawa for....
