Beginning to calm down a bit now!

I had been wondering what to blip for my blipday, and the bank very kindly offered me a thought.

You wouldn't have thought it was that hard, would you? Customer rings up bank and asks whether they would be sending a new card to accompany the shiny new pin number that recently arrived in the post.

Customer fails the security questions so bank refuses to divulge what is clearly such very personal information.

Customer asks to speak to manager. Manager comes on phone and says they will get somone to ring me back within 4-6 hours. Excuse me, says the customer, 6 hours time is 1.00 in the morning and the chances are I will have retired for the night. OK says the Manager, I'll get someone to call you tomorrow. Thank you says customer. Please can they ring me on my mobile. Er no says manager. We can only call you on the number that we have on our records. Well that's not going to help says customer as I shall not be at home to answer your call.

All I want to know is whether they have sent me a new card or not! You wouldn't have thought it would have been so painful.

Oh - and apologies for disturbing son number 2 who upon hearing my scream down the telephone came downstairs to check everything was OK :-)
