Wings
Found these in Craig's dissection kit years ago. When I showed them to the daughter she quickly made an excuse and ran out of the room on the pretense that she was off to make me a cup of tea. Not quite the average memento I guess, but I should perhaps explain why I and I think Craig kept them: I remember doing the same practical in Biology at school and I was mesmerised by the beauty, strength and yet fragility of the locust's wing. Even now, some five years after Craig secreted them away so that the lab tech couldn't remove them before he left the lab, his ones are still intact. Perfect macro fodder really.
