Lady Elizabeth visits Port Stanley!

This steel sail ship launched in Sunderland and sank in Stanley Harbour in the Falkland Islands in 1913. She, like the many other wrecks around here, had rounded the infamous Cape Horn in heavy weather , struggled here and then .... sank. In many instances both ships and cargos were purchased by the Falkland Island Company for very, very modest sums! We're going to Cape Horn in the next few days.......
