The Kirkcaldy Strollers agreed to take on the Upendo All Stars at 5-a-side football, as part of a fun afternoon for the kids at Upendo Leprosy Home.

The kids have not had the disease, but one or more parents has been left disabled by it.

But football?

Our average age is 50 something. Theirs would have been in the teens. It was 35c. We were at 5,000 ft. Well, a good cause.

The spectators and the Upendo players loved it. The rest of us suffered.

Upendo ended up winning the game comfortably, but we won some new friends.
