Hello Edinburgh, I've missed you

The train pulled out of York Station on a beautiful clear blue sky day and made it's way through beautiful countryside up the east coast to Edinburgh. I emerged out of Waverley into heavy snow- how did that happen?! Again more prep for Vancouver... freezing.

In between the snow and the rain I grabbed some quick photos from Princes Street. Walking up the mound and across the Meadows to Bruntsfield I slowly froze. A few glasses of wine and I was soon defrosted enough to spend a great evening catching up with good friends.
