Potterthon

Today we got to the end of the Harry Potter blu-rays that we got for Christmas. Checking a few of the details, it reminded me just how many of these books we have kicking about the house. There are lots of opinions about the Potter novels, but you can't fault that they were responsible for reading becoming socially acceptable for kids. I went to one of the launch events for the final novel, and it was amazing to see the length of the queues. I'd never seen anything like it for a book, and haven't since.
