The Big Smoke

I decided to try another night photo this evening but the sky is not very clear so star photography is out.

I headed up the hill, just 5 mins from here, and this is the view. It's quite a sight and often cars park along the road to admire the view. On bonfire night or New Years eve you can clearly watch the fireworks exploding all over London.

On the far right, the taller structures on the horizon are Canary Wharf and the Post Office Tower. It's also possible to see the London Eye but this was taken with a wide angle lens and it's just a little too small to work out.
Just slightly to the left of the end of the aeroplane streak, at the centre of the image, you should be able to just see the arc of Wembley Stadium.

I'm quite liking this night photography. Back at work tomorrow night, so I won't be bombarding you with more for a while.
