Bumbo

We took Rebecca swimming for the first time yesterday. She loved it! She seemed to find it all fascinating, and didn't get cross once. Then afterwards, she had a feed and fell asleep for 3 hours!

I got to watch Elizabeth swimming for the first time in ages. She's really moving well in the pool. It's going to be tricky getting her lessons while she still needs to have an adult with her, because of Rebecca.

Today we took a drive over to the toy store at Snetterton again. They have a park there, so as it was dry we took Elizabeth over for a play there first. We avoided the big helterskelter type slide, because we thought it was too big for her. But she marched over there, climbed up the steps herself and launched herself off from the top. She loved it! Such a daredevil.

And, as shown in the blip, we got the bumbo seat out today. Elizabeth got to try it first. I can't believe she still fits in it, but she does! She got rather annoyed when we put Rebecca into it and tried to sit on her... hopefully she'll be a bit better when it's been out a while.

Rebecca, as you can see, loved it! I don't ever remember getting a photo of Elizabeth smiling in it. Well, except the one I took today. She was content sitting in there for ages. Hurrah! It's not a waste of money after all.

We also got the door bouncer thing out too, but I'll try that one when Elizabeth's not around.
