Deserted Beach

The perfect Sunday weather. Dry, a bit blustery, not too cold, some sun; what more coul d you ask for in January? After the morning chores- including ome class- I headed out west for a walk, which turned into a series of walks.

This is the beach opposite the camp site at Barley Cove. The colours are hypnotising. The main beach was equally lovely but there were Sunday walkers there, and I wanted solitude.

As always when I go to this beach I look out for choughs. I was not disappointed. There were four.
