Old and New Newhills

Today for the first Sunday I went to Newhills church but in the wrong place - Bucksburn Academy. This Church@the Academy is a way to introduce the church to those who don't usually come. Not sure that worked but it made me think about the church and where it was - so we braved the icy winds and went to the graveyard round the 17th century church. I took lots of photos but especially like this one of the 1660s church with the 1830s building just slightly down the hill. Hopefully the 1830s church will survive all the proposed changes to the ministry in the next few years. But of course the church is not the building it is the people inside!
