Pensive or Plotting?

Pensive, according to Wiktionary means "Having the appearance of deep, often melancholic, thinking"
Plotting, on the other hand means "Scheming; making plots".
When I first uploaded this photo snapped this afternoon whilst he was at play I thought he looked pensive....but given what came afterwards I am now wiser and know he was plotting!
