Lottie's birthday party


She had a joint party with one of the girls in her class, we hired the church hall and a bouncy castle ( note to those planning children , January birthdays mean bouncy castles are half price so hold off conceiving until April ! )

Crazy day with maximum noise and a catalogue of mini crises made it yet another pseudo Monty Python day in our life

It was good though and they all had fun and it was much easier doing it with someone else. We all mucked in and Claire the other child's mum and her ex were particularly fab at sorting child upsets and even better at oven lighting duties ( although it was a very tricky oven to light and at one point I found John , full head in the oven , he assured me it was in a Delia Smith style not a Sylvia Platy style )

Two hours of sugar, pizza, bouncing about and cheesy music and they were all happy.

I do always feel bad that I blip her and rarely Erin but she just doesn't like the camera .
