Surf Chasing

Had my sister, brother-in-law and niece up for dinner today. It's always lovely to get the family together and afterwards we went on to the beach to walk the dogs.

It was such a beautiful day.....there were lots of people walking the beach on what was becoming a smaller and smaller strip of sand as the tide edged towards the promenade wall with gusto. Once past the prom the beach opens out providing walkers with a bit more space, but I've a feeling this is going to be a very high tide.

I stood at a distance for ages taking photos of this boy chasing in and out of the water with his dogs, and escaping to the shore when a big wave crashed in. There was a smart wind down there today, too, and it was blowing lots of seaspray off the top of the waves. It was wonderful, with so much to photograph I came away spoilt for choice of what to blip!
