Woman on the edge...

But it's ok, I'm not thinking of chucking myself in.
If it's as deep here as it is along other stretches of the canal that I have seen when they are drained, then it probably won't reach up to my waist.

Am feeling overly creaky today as a result of throwing a large round and unnecessarily heavy ball down a long stretch of wood with low rails either side, with the aim hitting ten bits of wood at the other end.

Why am I aching so much? I didn't think I went out of my way to put that much effort into it. Nevertheless some of my muscles are telling me something very different.

Obtaining liquid refreshment whilst enjoying all this physical exercise proved difficult to say the least. The vast majority of the staff were placed to serve the football supporters who had gotten themselves comfortable in the bar area and were enjoying a drink or three whilst they waited for their team to kick-off at around 5.30 pm in the football stadium just next door. Something I might bear in mind for the next time. What next time?!

Monday again tomorrow, but meantime it's almost Sunday evening and almost time for a glass of rouge.
