Take off

Boy was it windy today!

Gorious sun most of the day, but the wind was incredible - and we probably couldn't have chosen a more exposed walk to do! I even had my hat on for most of it which is saying something as I really don't like wearing one!

Good walk though taking in Northleach, Turkdean, Cold Aston, Notgrove, Hazleton, Compton Abdale, Yanworth, Hampnett and back to Northleach.

Another interesting thing we discovered is that on the flat, whilst I keep up with him as my legs move faster than his, I have to take 120 steps to every 100 of Stephen's. Then on the hills I take 132 to every 100 but fall behind as my legs only go at the same speed as his. Funny the things you discover when you walk that far with someone! And I bet you're glad you now know that too!

Bill's already sleeping and I'm going to have a bath and then sit in front of the fire and wait for my roast lamb!
