Early Birthday

I felt a bit like the Queen today as I had an official birthday. My 40th is on Monday but Mum and Dad have flown over to help me celebrate this weekend and won't be with us on Monday. For lunch today we went out for a lovely meal with a surprise birthday cake. This evening I opened some of my presents (I am told some are being saved for Monday). Here I am with Mum and Dad's present and they clubbed together with by brother and sister in law to get me a beautiful home communion set, Mark's present of a bracelet that you can put beads on with beads that the children helped choose, and the 40 presents from Mark and the children - one for every year of my life. They had great fun buying them they told me and I had great fun opening them. Thanks everyone.
