Tunnel

This is the tunnel beneath the Laughin and Greetin Bridge up at Falkirk High Station. It's about half a mile long and I'd no idea it was even here.

I took my bike in the back of the car to the Union Canal and cycled along the side of Antonine Wall. The path is still strewn with fallen trees. Lots of dog walkers out in the sunshine. I saw an otter near to the entrance of the tunnel in water that looked particularly murky.

As for the tunnel, I got half way through and sensed there were some dark shapes coming towards me so turned tail and headed for the light.
