5hp from an 8 hp engine..vroom, vroom...splutter.
Breezy, but still had to turn over the engine for a while to check it's still functioning despite overwintering tied by the pier. Seemed fine. Spot of oil, run through of a fresh fuel supply hopping across from one side to the other of Lough Corrib and then up a bit towards Callownamuck before turning back again.
Productive after a first morning run of the season and a fixing of pipes in the attic, some hammering of things and all achieved without falling off the ladder. This time, at least.
Now lots more today on this so-called 'day of rest.'
p.s. lots of shotgun noises coming from the distant shores. Guess it's nearing the end of duck season!!! yipes.
