"What colour shall we do the pillar boxes this year? Pillar Box Red?"

"Oh, we did them that colour last year. And the year before. And the year before that... what about something a bit different this year?"

"Well, we've still got half a tin of Pillar Box Red. Why don't we use that up, and then try something different next year?"
