is obviously slow on the south coast.

We had a fantastic day in Chichester. We went to see an exhibition by Edward Burra - if you possibly can, do go and see it, it may be the best exhibition I've ever seen.

I know it's a long way to go for many of you, but it's an amazing experience. The pictures are huge and intense for watercolours, both in colour and intention, almost all of them have a strange atmosphere

We also had time for a good stroll round and there was lots to see, a collection of gargoyles - some new and some old - and other stuff too.

But this sandwich board just tickled me
