Officially old

Today I went for a long overdue eye test. I have been a short sighted glasses wearer for nearly 20 years but today I have been told I also need glasses for reading, a sure sign that i am getting old. To avoid having 2 pairs of glasses and constantly swapping between them I can try vari-focals. Pass me a bus pass!

The only slightly positive aspect to this sorry tale is that I have also got a funky pair of Guess sunglasses with prescription lenses as well as the regular glasses and together they're costing me less than a single pair cost me 3 years ago, just!!! Every cloud....
