First snowdrops

Spotted on a walk in Pollok Park this afternoon, these are the first snowdrops I've seen this year. The forecast was sunshine and showers but the showers outweighed the sunshine. So these promises of spring were a particularly welcome sight.

I have to say, people weren't put off by the weather - the park was busy with walkers, runners, cyclists and children trying out their Christmas wheels.
