"Updown"

Ethan has a singular word for "upside down". Yes, you've guessed it, it's "updown"! He kept repeating it over and over very proudly as he demonstrated to me how he could put himself in an upside down position!

Hubbie took Ethan to his gymnastics class this morning and then straight after they went to Almond Valley Heritage Centre. They didn't get back till lunchtime so I had over 3 hours peace and quiet by myself at home! As usual I had the will I be lazy and do nothing or will I do housework dilema. And as usual, apart from a relaxing breakfast, the housework won.

After lunch, I took Ethan for a walk in the pouring rain. I needed to post some birthday cards and he needed a nap so I thought I'd see if he'd sleep in the pushchair. He did ... and slept for nearly 2 hours once we got back home! He hasn't been sleeping for as long during the daytime recently - normally between 40 minutes - an hour - so this is unusual. However, as he didn't go to bed till 9pm last night and was up at 6.20am I'm guessing he needed the extra daytime sleep.
