Museum in the making...

Our Scout Group was 100 yrs old recently and our kids loved to look at the piles of old stuff we have and are still collecting....

So much so that we have decided to convert one of our rooms into a museum of sorts to display our stuff and to do some interpretation on our origins. Kids will be involved doing some oral history and learning about looking after archives !

pride of place will of course go to our huge badge collection going back to 1920.

Our whole building has had a grant from the Scottish Government to improve our energy efficiency by internally insulating all our walls and floors - you can see the work in progress here - the results are already remarkable.
