Focus

Sometimes it's all to easy to focus on the negative things: that thing you wish you hadn't done, those things you shouldn't have said.
But if you always focus on the negatives in life then the positives become blurry. They pass by without notice.

It's hard to focus on work when the world keeps passing you by.
Trying to work on an assignment today I was constantly aware of the changing sky-line.
The colours. The shapes. The patterns.
Suddenly french grammar didn't seem like the end of the world.

Beauty and joy can be found, even in the darkest of places, if you only adjust your focus.
