Turner in January

Scotland is really fortunate to hold, in a permanent collection, some of the most important water colours by Turner

Turner in January happens every year in the darkest month of the year so that the images wouldn't be damaged by light. It seems a bit daft now but at the time the the collection was donated it make perfect sense.

Anyway we're hoping to get along before it closes but here's a small homage.
