Pyramid Portrait
The outing today was to the Louvre with our guests Nine and Didier. By the time we headed home, it was nearly dark, and I tried a number of shots around the pyramid. This is the most fun--taken from just outside looking in. (I'm posting it despite a mild degree of repetition with the reflection view of a few days ago).
For the curious, the exhibitions we saw were a very small show of paintings by the American artist Thomas Cole lent from the USA, and the Louvre's drawings by the 16th century Italian artist Giorgio Vasari (better know for his Lives of the Painters than for his own art, although it is perfectly credible.
This evening we are invited for dinner by Didier's brother Thierry and his wife Annick. I'm expecting a real feast.
