An old roadside tavern?

I have come to Bristol this week to stay with Pip and Mary and do a job swap. We had a long day and tonight Pip and I went out and had a very good pizza on the Gloucester Road in north Bristol. I had brought my camera thinking I might find a night shot on on the walk down to the restaurant.

We were chatting avidly and by the time we were ready to set off home, I'd forgotten about blipping. Outside, I asked Pip if he minded waiting a minute while I found a shot.

The Bristol Flyer caught my eye with its blue walls and inner and outer lights. I thought it must have been an old coaching stop on the A38 going north towards Gloucester.
