Large Garden


This brooch is one of my favourites. It's simply made, or would appear to be simply made.

My impression is that the centre area with gold and the dull spots is a representation of a formal Japanese garden complete with rocks and raked gravel; the coloured outer area is foliage.

I have moved my little setup into the conservatory to use natural light and my ringlight, as suggested by Talpa. I think this does give a much better image with greater depth of colour. Of course sacrifices have had to be made. I just hope the bin men take the bags away on Monday, then if I remain schtum for a week or so there'll be no way they will find out what I have done with her.

All in the name of art. Bloody good job I've got an 'O' level.
