Giant cat sleeping on pet elephant

A pet elephant was crushed today by a giant tabby called Hobbes ( Scott) .

Hobbes was not available for comment after the incident, but the elephant did speak to us from her hospital bed.

"I was just lying there one moment, thinking happy thoughts about water holes & trampling on wilderbeast, when that fat cat came & sat on me. I thought he loved me. I'm crushed."

Hobbes is currently in hiding behind the mirror in Bedroom 1, but the police, led ably by PC Kanu Copit said he will be caught.

"He will be caught," Copit said through gritted teeth, mainly due to the dental visit this morning when the hygienist went mental with the flossing procedure.

Hobbes's owner said,

" I love Paris in springtime."

My mother said,

"Take care when crossing the road."
