The Joy is Back!

I teach 8-11 yr. olds in a challenged inner-city school. It's a great place, philosophically, but I've had a difficult time the last three years. Students just didn't seem to value learning.

We began our new school year yesterday and I'm having a ball! These kids are hungry to learn! No more stealing, nit-picking, fighting and fit-throwing!

Once more I remember why I do this! Hurray!
