Birthday gift to myself!

Today was, in Scottish terms, a "dreich" day. It was grey, raining, blowing and mostly boring! So Mother and I and a friend decided to go for an outing. I had received in the mail a $5 off coupon for my birthday, so purchased this wonderful 30 minute hour glass. They had caught my eye the last time I visited this shop, and to find them on sale today made my day!

My 2-at-a-time toe-up socks are coming along very nicely!!
