All you need to know...

Everyone on here is a photographer of various standards. I think I'm reasonably OK when I'm in the mood (which hasn't been the case for the last two weeks) and so I have started to think about how I can help starters in photography how to get a bit better.

In all honesty, the technical stuff isn't that hard about relationships between aperture and shutter speed and ISO and there are about half a dozen 'rules' of composition that help you get better so I have pulled together an idea for a lesson that involves half an hour of theory (I reckon I could do it in ten minutes with the right person) and then two or three hours using the wonderful backdrop of Edinburgh to put theory into practice.

Tomorrow's lucky pupil is going to get this quite cool handout that contains all my theory on a handy clip that can be kept in the camera bag. If anyone else is interested you can contact me through my website.
