Follow the leader

Quiet day in the park with the deer out in abundance, but not much else. I didn't even hear a bird, let alone see one. The weather forecast is for 4-6 inches of snow over night, starting about sundown, so maybe this is the quiet before the storm. January 20 marks two years since the day I fell in the park and broke my shoulder. I was very aware of the unfortunate anniversary, so I put cleats on my boots before heading out today, and thankfully, my walk was cold but uneventful.
