Hidden Surprises, Jan 17

The canal was frozen over today, so we didn't manage to get out onto the water for training in the afternoon. Instead, we went to the CSE Gym and into the Katherine Grainger Rowing Suite which is basically just a room full of Ergo's and mirrors.

(A great place for all you self-conscious people out there - working out in front of the mirrors which are on every single wall, creating not only one reflection of yourself dying, but multiple.)

This photograph is a mini Crème Egg that my mother had, placed in an egg cup to show the size difference.. It's a shame that the chocolate egg was demolished by me in a split second.
