Cotton Wool Culture

Was reading an article in the Telegraph today that says that the cotton wool health and safety culture has robbed children of the traditional pleasures of playing outside, such as climbing trees and making dens.
1/3 of children have never built a den or climbed a tree and 1 in 10 have never ridden a bike.

Made me think of my children and was pleased that they spend most of their free time outside and have climbed a lot of trees and made numerous dens. In fact as you can see from the blip they have made a den in a tree.
