Goldfinch

Volunteering at rspb again this morning. We were clearing out the recycling shed which seemed to have been taken over by the retail section as a dumping area.

Wanted to take a picture of the long tailed tits around the feeders but they never stay for long. Instead I got this out of focus goldfinch. My excuse was I was in a bit of a hurry to get home, shower, lunch and finish packing to get picked up at 4pm to go to Edinburgh. Walking tomorrow.

Great excitement when I got home to see a Greater spotted woodpecker on the feeder. This is a first at my feeders.
