Let Go
I am intrigued by so many different art forms. Chalk, paint brushes, pencils, water colors, spray paint, crayons, wood burning, it's all so beautiful to me because when I look closely I can see that with every motion there was expression. So much can be released in art. A thousand pounds can come off your shoulders with one stroke of a paint brush. Seven topics you're stressed about can feel like nothing after one poem is written.
I choose words. If I could, I would paint. But my creativity shows with use of putting thoughts on paper. Whether its a letter, a poem, or just a scrambling to get a thought out before it slips away, it all helps me get through. My mom has taught me to put everything into words and in more ways than just creativity, it has been so helpful in my life. Communication and expressing myself makes things simple.
Seeing art as unique and powerful as this with my toes in the sand, I am reminded that expression is so important and everything can be let go of with a stroke of a brush or a line of a poem.
