Celtic Connection

Hearing the sound of music early this evening in Glasgow I followed it to its source in the hope of a blip pic.

I was not disappointed.

The Celtic Connection Festival is taking place this week in the Royal Concert Hall and one band was performing outside to a big audience despite the zero temperatures and biting wind.

Commuters stopped on their way home to listen.

It sums up the Glasgow spirit: a toughness and hardiness combined with a love of music and theatre.
