The Day I Flashed (or didn't)

Tried to fix my broken flash gun today. Managed to get it to the state where it fires as long as I am pressing the battery door, the remote trigger and the bracket all at the same time. Not great. Might be rash but need to dash and splash my stash of cash for a new flash.

I wonder why wash is pronounced wosh?
