our mill, strange to say

Today was the first day since we signed for the deeds. We can finally get cracking with our project. Giant lists of jobs, a building to renovate...But like all huge moments all we could manage was a small job. So we spent the morning collecting and stacking firewood. It's not going to transform lives, but it will keep us warm. Also took Nell to her music group (her and one other baby), very, very funny and fun. Must try for a photo next week.
