Went to the cinema and ..........
.... decided to take a pic of it as it had been too misserable to venture outside earlier for an outdoor shot.
It's not very exciting but neither was the film. War Horse is advertised as a Spielberg epic. I found the first half boring and over romanticised in an orange glow with surreal sets. The Somme scenes were spectacular however, Spielberg at his best. It's a pity the film didn't concentrate more on the war years and less on the preamble.
Horse lovers would probably enjoy this but I would suggest they take a box of hankies with them.
The best thing about this pic is the fact that I managed to get Stirling Castle in it (on the roof of Nandos on the far right) and hadn't even noticed it when I was framing it!
Ho hum!
