Maundy money

This 1905 Maundy money box has been passed down through our family. Unsure how my Great Grandfather came into ownership of it. It was passed to my Aunt and was totally intact with all the coins inside. My Aunt sadly became ill and went into hospital.During this time her house was burgled and three of the coins went missing. My Aunt was terminally ill and never came home. For the last 5 years I have been lucky enough to be the custodian of it.

I treasure it even although only one coin remains. The monarch in 1905 was King EdwardVII. I see there is a programme about him on TV tonight.
