Amelie was a little brighter today, for most of the day, only getting grumpy when we left my Gran's where we were all day and headed home where I refused to let her play with the key for the window. Consequently she had a massive tantrum (complete with throwing everything she could get her hands on) just in time for Granny and Papa getting in from work. Her tiredness from not sleeping is really affecting her moods!

However beforehand we had a fun day - lunch at Grans (a battle but at least she ate her breakfast this morning), washing her hands in the sink with Gran showing her how to blow bubbles, a walk to tesco, fun with the cushions in Gran's living room...

And a walk up the hill (Amelie managed to do lots of walking!) where we discovered a cat which was so pleased to see us and ran around Amelie's legs lots (she has been talking about it ever since, and I'm back blippinAmelie had g this over a week later!)

It ended up being a late night as Amelie's late afternoon nap gave her loads of energy and then we discovered the cat had followed us all the way home! Poor thing must be a stray and was looking for someone to tag along with. No wonder it was so pleased to see us. Got a fright though when I saw it looking up at me from outside!!
