Antlers

The domesticated fallow deer in the Bürgerpark is more difficult to photograph than I imagined. They like shadowy places and their black eyes always reflect the flash or turn out red on the pic. Of course I could do some image editing, but I'm never quite happy with the results (take a look at this squirrel for example). I think I'm going to try with a tripod and a lengthened exposure time these days. So I was quite happy when I caught the buck hiding behind the logs- he really doesn't like having his picture taken anyway.

Another dull and rainy day. Forecast says it's going to be really, really freezing cold on the weekend. And raining. Oh dear.
