compelling

One of the many street entertainers to be found in Bath at any time. I had today off of work, and when I returned from London I spent some time wandering aimlessly around the centre of Bath. in a short time, I saw this rather strange theatrical figure, a fiddler who had invented a contraption for playing the guitar, a classical guitarist, a small group of students singing Radiohead songs, and another with a guitar being insistently questioned as to how much money he typically makes in a day, and a man playing steel pans. Proper hive of activity even on a workday.
