Lounging

Our dog Poppy has a spot on our sofa where she can keep an eye out the front window. I love it when she reclines so that her front legs hang straight out over the edge of the sofa arm. I took this picture this morning, shortly after Mark left to teach his class. Poppy seemed very sad after he left. She doesn't like it when either one of us leaves. She will try and nip at our pant legs to keep us from going. Fortunately, once we're gone, she is fine. She's never torn up the house or done anything destructive while we've been away. When we get back home, she's always curled up on the sofa like a little angel.
